Theme OCC enters the Darien Lake Theme Park Resort

Darien Lake Theme Park Resort revealed today that it will join hands along with New York centered custom built motorcycle builder known for their high-end customization solutions The OCC - Orange County Choppers. The park's hottest roller coaster, a motorbike themed outing, will be christened the Orange County Choppers Moto-Coaster. The Teutul family, initiators of OCC and heroes of the hit show "American Chopper," will be on hand May 16 for the coaster's grand opening. They will also design and build a motorcycle inspired by the ride, which will be high lighted in an event of the show and hang about on display at the park venue.

A.B.A.T.E declares motorcycle accidents are on the rise in Pennsylvania

It's been going on since the early 90's really; motorcycles craze have been on the increase. With shows like American Chopper making all new celebrities plucking out of builders, motorcycle dealers, like Black Dog Motorcycles in Wormleyburg, say we are right there in the middle of the best ever increase in motorcycle sales experienced ever. But as popularity augments so do accidents. Statistics procured from the Department of Transportation say nationwide victims involving motorcycles are definitely on the steep rise. Some link that increase in motorcycle accidents to looser helmet laws. A.B.A.T.E. is distributing 10 thousand of warning signs across Pennsylvania this week, warning drivers to watch out for lot of bikes as warmer weather approaches; a warning that could save lives even during the winter.

Not all bikes a cheap option for cars

Companies are rolling out an all new troop of powerful, affluent, attribute-laden machines at prices that some time back would have seemed outlandish for something that rolls on 2 wheels just a few years ago. Quite a lot of motorcycles that recently went on sale or are expected any time in dealerships this spring cost somewhere roughly between $15,000 and $40,000, which spells more than a Mercedes-Benz C-Class sedan. Harley-Davidson Inc.'s Rocker C gazes like a custom-built "chopper" and costs $19,495. BMW AG is taking orders for its racy looking Yankee priced at $25,375 HP2 Sport which adds up more than 25 percent more expensive than even its most deluxe models of cars. Ducati Motor Holding SpA is billing at $72,500 for the Desmosedici RR, based on a model that is being raced in professional competitions. Victory Motorcycles, a pact of Polaris Industries Inc., and MV Agusta, a unit of Cagiva SpA, are also rolling out new lines that are launching madly at new horizons.
