John Ferguson of McPherson is a past Marine. When his one-time commander, Lt. Col. Tim Maxwell, was gravely injured in Iraq, Ferguson decided that he wanted to do something to facilitate his associate and all other soldiers rebuilding their lives after an active-duty grievance."He's the Marine that would clutch you by your collar," says Ferguson. "He'd draw you out of that hole and pronounce, 'Marine, you're following me'". Hence, the birth of "Chopper of Honor".
"We wanted to erect a bike to go and elevate awareness all around the United States... to show the lessened guys, 'This is what we can execute for you,'" says Ferguson.
