Having take part in two successful winter tests in Qatar as well as in Australia the Yamaha Motor Italia World Superbike Team is previously in a high state of eagerness to meet the challenge of the forthcoming World Superbike Championship season.
We had a very fine test at Qatar and even though we found some added work to do in Australia we were still fulfilled with our growth on the bike. It was an immense progress in Qatar, and in Australia we went more rapidly than we did last year quicker than we had ever gone.
In general, we be expecting to have some small benefit over the maker who will arrive in 2008 with fresh machines, and we will see what the real prospective of the new 1200cc twins are in races, not trying. The major thing is that we know our bike is previously better than the way it ended the season with a double win in Magny Cours last year, credit to a lot of areas of development.
