Bajaj has currently announced that a new agreement with its Japanese partner will permit it to pass Kawasaki's big bikes into India. Bajaj Auto with Kawasaki of Japan has had an association for the past 25 years that extensive into technical cooperation and latest product development.
Mr Rajiv Bajaj, Managing Director of Bajaj Auto speaks, amongst the bikes being measured for launch here is the recently introduced Kawasaki Ninja 250. This bike is power-driven by an eight-valve, DOHC, liquid-cooled 250cc fuel injection engine that develops 30bhp of max out power, and is mutual with a six-speed gearbox. Mr Bajaj said that the Ninja 250 is the right product fit for the Indian market for the reason that it was developed in Thailand and is presently being manufactured for that market.
