In Sunday's Christmas Toys in the Sun Run, it was not his bike that draws stares. It was his crazy black and white cow suit, full with a rubber udder, joint with bright red Christmas stockings dragged over his biker boots. More than thirty thousand toy posture motorcyclists travel on all from crazily expanded choppers to long-established touring bikes take to the road, where they were meet by waving spectators who had dragged up lawn chairs to watch the procession. The traffic brings to a halt procession from Pompano Harness Track to Markham Park in progress soon after 10 a.m. and last about three hours.
The toys are distributed to in need families across Broward County. Most of the money rose during the run profit Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital, a Hollywood ability known for effectively treat pediatric cancer patients.
